Evidence Talks Limited – Cancellation Policy for Online Purchases

This cancellation policy contains the terms covering online sale of Services and Software Products by Evidence Talks Limited (Company No 4611669) whose registered office is at The Pinnacle, 160 Midsummer Blvd, Milton Keynes, MK9 1FF.

DEFINITIONS

ETL:  means Evidence Talks Limited

Customer:  means the person or company to whom Products or Services are sold.

Digital Download(s):  means the processing of copying data to a computer from an external source.

Product(s):  means the computer hardware and other products sold to the Customer by ETL.

Service(s):  means training, consulting, support and other services provided by ETL to the Customer.

CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT

ETL appreciates that there are occasions where a Customer has to cancel or move their requirements for Services or training due to unforeseen circumstances.  In such circumstances, ETL endeavours to be flexible.

  1. Training courses
    • Written cancellation requests received in excess of 21 days prior to the start date of the training activity will incur no liabilities.
    • Written cancellation requests received within 8 to 21 days prior to the start date of the training activity will incur an administration fee equal to 50% of the obligated fee.
    • Written cancellation requests received within 7 days prior to the start date or after the commencement of the training activity will incur an administration fee equal to 100% of the obligated fee.
    • Written requests to postpone attendance to the next available training course will be considered and where possible, the date moved forward to the next published training event. If another date cannot be agreed a refund can be issued in line with cancellation requests as above.
    • Refunds for training delivered as part of an online course are not supported.
  1. Other Services
    • ETL will commit staff and resources to deliver the Service at the times agreed with the Customer and cancellation or postponement may incur cost and will affect ETL’s schedules and ability to use staff and resources.
    • Written cancellation requests received in excess of 21 days prior to the start date of the fixed service will incur no liabilities.
    • Cancellation of fixed arrangements made less than 21 days before such fixed date may incur a cancellation charge determined by the level of irrecoverable cost incurred by ETL, but will not exceed the obligated fee.
  1. Digital downloads
    • If a digital download is ordered and the download is immediately supplied, then no return or refund can be issued.

 

All issues are resolved at the discretion of ETL.
