Case Example

Company A wanted to buy company B and all  was going well  when they received an anonymous email stating that there were disputes concerning the patents filed by company B.

Company A contacted company B who denied all knowledge of the email and the alleged patent disputes. So company A engaged Evidence Talks to investigate.  Using special proprietary techniques we were able to determine that the sender of the email was a man who worked for company C. This man was named on one of these patents and was upset that the company would be sold and he would not benefit.

He was confronted and dealt with by his employer.

Internet Investigations

The internet has become the medium that many criminals are using to perpetrate crimes. As the internet pervades all aspects of our lives these days, it also touches many, if not all, areas where incidents can occur.

These can range from a blackmail email to a full credit card fraud. It is still a fact that many people are not taking all the precautions they should to protect themselves and their organisations from viruses, Trojans and other internet based malware.

We have many years of experience and knowledge working and detecting in this area of digital crime and, in addition, can offer consultancy services to harden systems after an incident.

Not only do we have knowledge and experience, we also have access to unique tools that aid the gathering of evidence and intelligence, making Evidence Talks the primary source for internet investigations in Europe.
